Urban Investment Research Corporation’s Construction Services unit performs exclusively industrial/commercial construction, from simple tenant build-outs to out of the ground new manufacturing/distribution center.
 
While Urban Investment Research Corporations Construction Services generally performs several third party construction projects every year, this unit primarily supports and delivers construction services to the development unit of Urban Investment Research Corporation.

Current and Recent Construction Projects of Urban Investment Research Corporation include:

Renovation of a 60,000 square foot former crane facility for use as a modern warehouse/distribution facility (completion June 2000).

New Construction Steel Warehouse/Distribution Facility, Build to Suit new construction 44,000 square foot industrial building and 4500 square foot two story office building renovation adjacent to new construction (Completed 1998).

Currently UIRC is under development on a 44,000 SF Build to Suit new construction Industrial Building with a 28’ft clear warehouse to be completed in spring of 2006.  This facility will be a sister facility for CMI/Steel Wheel Transfer.

Graphite Production/Warehouse Facility, fast track, build to suit new construction manufacturing warehouse facility (Completed 1998)

Renovation of Former Steel Pickling Factory for Use as a garage, maintenance and support facility for the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation Division.
